New to Oracle Database

I am new to Oracle Database although I am conversant with MS SQL.
I want to start a career path and certifications in Oracle databases.
Can anyone help with guides and Study materials?

    I am in the same spot as you. I tried installing it on my vmware server but it was taking forever. Now that it is installed, i am kinda lost on how to connect to it. I am familiar with MYSQL and some Microsoft SQL. This is all for another thread some day.


    Anyways i hope someone gets back to this thread to tell us where to start.
