Two Questions:
- I would like to knock out the MCSA for Server 2012 and Windows 8 this year. I found a few sites stating 60-90 days... What is the average time needed to accomplish these tests (I realize everyone is different)???
- I plan on getting the Sybex books and using Microsoft Virtual Academy and TechNet Evals in an Or acle VM Environment. These certs are work driven (not the deadline), so most, if not all, will be paid for. Any other study material suggestions?

Asif Dasl Member Posts: 2,116 ■■■■■■■■□□Yeah Microsoft has a MCSA-in-90-Days challenge... it's a bit of gimmick but definitely achievable. Most poeple around here seem to get a single exam done within 4-6 weeks, something like that.
You might want to get the MS Press books when they come out for 70-411 & 70-412 cause they will have the R2 updates in them (they are released in October). The Sybex book doesn't have R2 updates in them at the moment. R2 isn't being asked on the exams just yet but they will be pretty soon after when it is released. You might even get the exams done before R2 comes out.
Read all the TechNet links on the MCSA-in-90-days website along with the books and maybe a CBT Nuggets/Train Signal and you should be fine. -
