Studying for multiple exams at once, good or bad?

My A+ isn't until the 23rd of the month and gone through the Exam Cram and the CompTIA Study Guide and feel I have a good grasp of the concepts. Would it be a good idea to go ahead and start studying for the next certs I want to knock out, Sec+ and CCENT, or should I just focus on one at a time. I'm getting fidgety just waiting for the 23rd, but then again I don't want to overload myself.
What do you guys do, focus on just one cert at a time, or study for multiple certs at once?

I started studying for Net+ before I had finished the A+ exams, and I started studying for Linux+ before I took the Sec+ exam. I would recommend doing some review 3-5 days before your exam in order to cover any gaps in knowledge, just to be on the safe side, because you will forget some things if you aren't studying or using them regularly.

Edit - Just focus on A+ for the time being, you have plenty of time for the other exams when you get around to them. -

If you feel you want or need additional certifications after that then do another, lather, rinse, repeat. I'm pretty much tapped out on certifications, but I may eventually do another down the road. Just really depends on my career path.

phdillard Member Posts: 86 ■■□□□□□□□□My thinking was that just brushing the surface of Sec+ and CCENT would be about the level of security and networking on the A+ so that might actually help reinforce some of the topics, but looking at that previous post Asif linked to, most of you advise against this, so I'll just go over the Exam Cram again and worry about the others later. At 31 years old I feel like I've got to make up for lost time, but maybe its better that I pace myself. Thanks.

Snow.bros Member Posts: 832 ■■■■□□□□□□You should just focus on the A+ exam or else you would confuse yourself with the other cert, so for now use the time to revise materials you were studying maybe there could be important you have missed, revise and get solid a foundation. and good luck for your exam!!!"It's better to try and fail than to fail to try."
