I thought it was a discontinued exam? If that is the case why are employers listing that certification as a job requirement or saying they prefer that over A+ on some of the job postings I have seeing online. One said something like A+ or MCSDT certification, MCSDT preferred. I am studying for the MCTS windows 7 is that not considered comparable?

You'll find places asking for retired certifications because they don't know any better or their last IT person had that certification even though it's outdated by something newer.

antielvis Member Posts: 285 ■■■□□□□□□□i just read it was Jan 31 2014, so not far off. STUPID but doesn't surprise me with MS. They're so eager to get Windows 8 on the desktop I guess they figure they'll pull the plug on Win 7.
