Best C2500 IOS image

Dear all,

after successfully buying a bunch of 25xx routers on eBay it's now the right time to equip them with the latest and greatest IOS.

The two choices I have so far are:
c2500-ik8os-l.122-31.bin (12.2 with practically everything)
c2500-is-l.123-16.bin (12.3 with IP and NAT)

Which one would you pick or are you running in your lab ?

lets see i see that the 12.2 version looks like a ip/fw/ids/3des or ipsec
12.3 is ip plus.. only thing is that from my understanding 12.3 can do intervlan routing on 10mb interfaces but i'm not sure about 12.2.. really this is your call


me i run 12.3 and run other versions if needed

2500 12.3 .. from what i've seen doesn't do intervlan routing. working in lab tonight no sub interface encapsulation.. which is not uncommon there are alot if issues with 12.3 ios if your not using ip/fw/ids/3des which you won't get for a 2500

You are going to want an enterprise IP plus IOS for the 2500 to do all the goodies. I would give you the name, but I am not at home, have my FTP off, and dont feel like going to CCO right now

the last version you can get that in is c2500-js-l.122-31.bin which i will check tonight
