Paying to take a Cisco test

I'm low on cash and was going to pay for my Cisco test with my credit card. Unfortunately, Pearson Vue doesn't take Discover, which is the only one I have. Is there a way around this somehow? Pay some other entity for a voucher or something with the card?

Not by much though. http://www.itexamvouchers.com is an example. I am not sure of which ones do or do not take discover cards so I would just google around for more voucher websites.

Cat5 Member Posts: 297 ■■■□□□□□□□I checked out the website. It looks like they bundle "practice tests" with their vouchers, so I'd wind up paying more than I would through Pearson Vue. I'll have to keep looking.
This might be a dumb question, but I've never used a voucher, so once I have it is it a code that I input in Pearson Vue's website that pays for the test or something? -

Hmmm strange. I could have sworn I bought single vouchers of that site before. -

TurK-FX Member Posts: 174I also used supervouchers before. For first time, it takes like 3-4 days to get the voucher, cus they wanna be sure, they are not scammed. BUt the second time, it took me 1 day.WGU classes: Transferred -> AGC1, CLC1, TBP1, CJC1, BVC1, C278, CRV1, IWC1, IWT1, C246, C247, C132, C164, INC1, C277. Appealed -> WFV1 and C393.

Would it be possible to use your Discover to buy a Visa/Mastercard giftcard for a certain amount and use that on PearsonVue to pay? They're treated as regular credit cards and can be used online IIRC. However, I believe they only come in certain amounts. And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. Visa/Mastercard gift cardscan come in whatever amount you want them to come in, if you get the right pack (I worked at CVS Pharmacy less than a year ago.) However, there's a limit to how much you can put on it in 1 day, esp when paying w/ credit (to prevent fraud and/or money laundering.) Even still, the limit is well above what it costs to pay for a Cisco test. And you can also reload the max to the card once per day.
However, I think the easiest AND cheapest way is just to use the link I posted above.
I've used super vouchers multiple times. I've never had a problem at all.Goals for 2018:

I paid Supervoucher for my ICND I voucher this morning. Unfortunately, they won't divulge the code to a "free" email address (i.e. Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc) due to what they call "security issues." So I'm still waiting to get my voucher - and I can't schedule my test until they send it. Nor can I call them; they don't seem to have a phone number. Fortunately, I'm at work and sent it from this address, but I'm still waiting (what if I worked from home and didn't have a work email?)
If I had known I had these hoops to go through with them, I would have gone an alternate route. -

Some Domain Registrars offer a certain number of free email boxes when you register a domain name or lease web hosting or virtual servers. I have two email accounts this way through Go Daddy. One is myname@mydomain and the other is a catch-all, which receives any email sent to mydomain which doesn't match my other account (myname). This also allows me to create new email addresses on the fly.R&S: CCENT → CCNA → CCNP → CCIE [ ]

I've bought 3 vouchers (A+ and CCENT) from them in the past and never encountered any problems even remotely close to this. I use gmail.Goals for 2018:
