I am going to study hard to pass it within next month. I have no choice will quit my job if I have to currently in a position as a helpdesk support person. I really feel down at my age I should be doing a higher position cause of my social anxiety issue I been stuck. I am thinking of finishing the CCNA and applying for a networking position. The helpdesk support is related to microsoft and active directory will lead me to system engineering which doesn't interest me one bit.

Just remember that everyone progresses differently. Everyone's life is different. I've started on helpdesk and worked my way to networking. As important as it is to get certifications, and just as important (and possibly more) to have experience as well.
