Just went through a 5 day course for ICOMM and had a few questions

Hello, After taking the 5 day course for ICOMM, I would like to continue to study and eventually take the exam. However, I currently do not have an existing cisco certs. Does anyone recommend possibly taking the CCNA routing and switching before hand or just study and take the exam? I wasn't sure if there were any advantages in doing so.

There are prerequisites for earning the CCNA Voice certification. You need CCENT, CCNA or CCIE first.

Ooops, didn't see that one! Thanks. Would you know what exams those would be changing to? I noticed that the last day to test is the end of the month and there is no way I would be able to take it by then. EDIT: I'm an idiot, forget this question. Thank you for the info.

For sept 30th you need the 640-802 otherwise 100-101 or the 200-120.

You can take the ICOMM exam before doing the CCNA, but you will not get the Voice cert status until CCNET or CCNA is completed.
