Hello, After taking the 5 day course for ICOMM, I would like to continue to study and eventually take the exam. However, I currently do not have an existing cisco certs. Does anyone recommend possibly taking the CCNA routing and switching before hand or just study and take the exam? I wasn't sure if there were any advantages in doing so.

I noticed that the last day to test is the end of the month and there is no way I would be able to take it by then. EDIT: I'm an idiot, forget this question. Thank you for the info.
