CCENT (Again)

I passed the CCENT in 2008, but never went further due to not using the knowledge gained. Today I found out I am the "network" guy at the new job and will need to get up to speed. So back to the Cisco world I go, hopefully too much hasn't changed, but I am going to pick Odom's book tonight. 900+ pages of joy :)

    I have the new one, started reading it. I actually bought the complete set. I was thinking about picking up the Todd Lammle set instead because his writing style is a lot more "fun". I've started my CCENT for like the 5th time! I always seem to just get sidetracked into doing other things. Good luck though!

    I hear you on Lammle, but my thought is this. I will at some point start reviewing configs and will need the ins and outs. In the case that I am before a CEO and his teams telling him why his people need to change this or that.

    I would suggest setting a date for taking the exams. With a set time frame you might force yourself to focus.
    I have meet a few people that took a small break from studying and have a difficult time getting back into it.
