Thoughts on crash course training courses?

I have never attended a "boot camp" before and was wondering if they work. This particular one has a narrow scope which extends 13 hours over the course of two days. It requires you have at least an intermediate level of knowledge with the tool set which I do (several years of experience at a high level). In this instance does it sound like a keeper or something to steer clear from? It's provided from a local university which is highly reputable and the cost is only 349 dollars. This doesn't lead to a certificate, it's just training over the course of 2 days.

Don't know what the course is in, but as you know, the cost for self-study training materials alone can run that high sometimes. If it helps you get a cert in the long run and the program has a decent record, then go for it.
