AD migration question (Mapped certificates)

Hello all,
I could not find an answer to this question so I'm curious if anyone here knows. During a AD migration from one forest to another. If I have a bunch of users that have certificates mapped (from an external CA, currently using IIS certificate mapping) to their accounts would the name mappings come along with the account during the migration?
EDIT
I was informed that Cross forest certificate has been fixed in 2008R2 but thats a little different I think. I know that what I'm trying to do doesn't work in 2003 either but not sure in 2008R2 or 2012.
