Limiting MAC addresses to a single port in wireless

I ran across a question worded similarly to the following:
To prevent wireless attacks, an administrator has implemented a mechanism to limit connecting MAC addresses to a single port. Which wireless attack will this mitigate?
A) RFI
MitM
C) Rogue access point
D) ARP poisoning
I was able to arrive at the correct answer "C" by process of elimination. However, I'd like to understand this better. I'm not sure how a "single port" applies to wireless access points. Do they mean a single access point? Thoughts?
