Thoughts for data collection?
Has anyone created a web form or via Adobe or some other tool set to capture data that is stored in a database, Access or a more robust database? I don't mind spending the money on the software but controlling the input is critical. Garbage in Garbage out so...... Thanks for any replies. I am mostly concerned about the front end at this point.

What sort of data are you looking to capture? There are plenty of decent out-of-the box ones too, but if you are going to have many users inputting data, then the support contracts you can purchase from something prebuilt can be helpful long term. If you have just a few folks entering data, and you and maybe a team will be managing the database, building your own might be the better choice.Plantwiz

***I'll add you can Capitalize the word 'I' to show a little respect for yourself too.
'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird? -
paul78 Member Posts: 3,016 ■■■■■■■■■■It sounds to me like you have some sort of database with aggregated data which you are performing analytics and business intelligence. If so, you may want to explore using the data validator components of whatever tool you are already using to build the data entry forms. Most data analytics solutions will include data validator components which you can use to build the data input screens. That way you don't have to introduce another solution onto your data analytics platform. Another solution if you are building your own data-input forms, you could just use XSD-based validators for flexibility. It depends on the complexity of the validation that you need.
