Hey everyone,
I tried my hand at the old ICND2 back in early July and scored a 738. Since then I've studied a bit off and on but really haven't cared. Now its mid September and I know the "old" ICND2 goes away in a week so I'm going to just focus on the 200-101 as I don't want cram for the next week and try and most likely fail and throw away $150.00.
1. Is there a new version of Packet Tracer available?
2. Are there any big differences between IOS 12 and 15. I know of licensing being an issue but I mean like well known commands or syntax changes
3. Am I doing myself a disservice by going this route and not though the new ICND1 materials I saw stufff like Etherchannels, ACL, VLAN are all on the ICND1 and no longer on the ICND2. I'm very comfortable with pretty much all that except ACL I need to study.
Thanks everyone.

This PDF breaks it down pretty well, you will have plenty of additional work to do if you wait until after the test changes - but I think it's worth it for your career. I'd stick with your current plan.
