Practice Exam Question...

For the ICND2 I have been using measure up until this week when I bought a Boson 150 question practice exam and holy crap!! Before I felt like I had a good working knowledge of the ICND2 and the Boson exam has made me feel inept. The questions take quite a bit of time to answer as well... Does the Boson more accurately represent the ICND2 questions than measureup? I don't even remember the ICND1 going into this much detail or having this in depth of exhibits...

As jvrlopez mentioned, going through them even if you're getting them wrong, will be very good practice because it will highlight weak areas. My version came with three full exams. By the end of them, I was pretty well rounded.
I should also mentioned I felt that many of the questions had errors and a few were intentionally misleading (far more than would happen on the real exam). The staff did respond to my feedback but that response was limited to "our exam expects a specific answer even though others may exist" and some hair-splitting on a few questionable answers.
The sims, in particular, had a lot of problems. (Telnet not working when it should, sim only counting one of many varied solutions as correct, etc...)
I don't know if it was worth the $70 but if you have the cash to spare, you will definitely learn by using their practice exams. -
blatini Member Posts: 285Yeah, I feel like alot of the questions/answers are borderline and the simulator is very clunky. I really was worried about time more than anything. I can eventually get to the right answer but having ten questions in a row that each take me a few minutes to answer isn't too comfortable of a feeling on a new practice exam...

smcclenaghan Member Posts: 139I also was worried about time.
Make sure you can do the multiple choice and drag/drops within a few seconds. Most of that stuff should be second nature by test time.
The sims are going to soak time. That's what they do. I was super concerned during my test because I blew like 15 minutes on one sim, but I still ended the test with almost 20 minutes to spare.
