Passed VCA-DCV!

Woot!

Was not a difficult test (as others have mentioned).

Did the 3 hour free training, took notes, scheduled the test. As others experienced, had problems scheduling the test, so called them and had to deal with a rep who could barely speak english. Got it scheduled, took test, passed without issue. No proctoring and you can take it online, but still recommended to study, take good notes, and understand the concepts, as it has a good amount of situational and conceptual questions.

BTW, I received an email today stating that the free test code has been extended to Oct 15, and the same code that everyone has been used (I think it is VCA501 or something like this) will now work online without issue.

Thinking of going for the vCloud, as it is free. As others have said, I understand and know these are basic and not "high-level" certs, however it does give a great intro to virtualization topics, vmware test questions, and it is FREE.

Have a great weekend all!

The VCA Cloud isn't an easy test. There are so many parts that seem to do the same thing to a person who doesn't use the suite at all and the training isn't very detailed. I still passed so it is enough, just pay attention to what everything does.
