I got a question about configuration files.
After we erase startup-config file from NVRAM, we select "no" to the questions
Please answer 'yes' or 'no'.
Would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog? [yes/no]
We type no and press enter and get Router> appears. So right now which configuration file we use since we already delete the startup-config file from NVRAM? Or at this time we don't have configurate file yet? (for example, the router doesn't need startup-configuration file but can still go into user mode Router>)
Thanks for help.

So you have to manually do all the changes you need to do like set ip addresses, hostnames, routing protocols, etc and then do a copy run start. If a router doesnt have a startup config it will ask you for that initial configuration dialog when you boot it up.There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.
