I am Unix / VMware Engineer here in my current job and I keep seeing that I am hitting my level of knowledge in terms of Linux / Unix (Running all sorts of flavors, from Gentoo / CentOS / Ubuntu / FreeBSD etc.).
Is there a known class room trainings-course you guys know of (especially here in the UK / London) which covers not the basics basics, but gives a good over-all understanding, some more in-depth in command lines and the sorts?
It doesn't have to attach to a certification - that is my last thought - I just want to learn more but I just don't have the patience to sit down and read documentations (plus a course is easier to get paid for by the company rather than just time to study).

While they're attached to RHCSA/RHCE, the material is really good, with an excellent amount of lab based exercises. They can be a bit pricey though. I think all instructor-led training are expensive, but definitely worth it!
