Help, first IT job search

I'm getting ready to start my first IT job search. A bit of background might be helpful. I work in print as a graphic designer and prepress operator for the last 15 years. Became bored with my job and wanted to do something different, but wasn't sure what. Then during the recession a number of IT people were laid off at work, and I somehow started to assume some of their responsibilities. Turns out I really liked it and the more I learned the more I wanted to know, so I enrolled at the local technical college in the IT Networking Specialist program. I am now half way done and have earned my A+ and CCENT certifications, and expect to graduate in December 2014 with an AAS degree and also CCNA and Security+ certifications. Currently I am in a position where I need to find a new job, as my current work schedule conflicts with the remaining class schedule that I need to take for school. So I thought I might as well get something related to my field of study and get some experience. Ideally I would like to get something like a Jr. Network administrator, but it reading many posts here it seems like a help desk position is more likely. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas that might be helpful, please pass them along. Also can somebody provide some insight into what I should be including in a resume?
