Really strange Keyboard and mouse problem!

I'm doing a clean installation of Windows Server 2003. The keyboard works fine during the portion where Windows asks which drive to partition and also works during the license agreement, but once Windows is done installing and the "Regional and Language Options" window comes up, they no longer work. I've tried starting over from scratch, but still have the same problem. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

    It sounds like a driver or software problem. Is there any software that must be installed for the keyboard/mouse to work under 2003? Is there a FAQ or KB article on the keyboard's manufacturer's website that mentions this problem with 2003? Check the support web site for a patch that much be installed for 2003.

    You didn't mention the make/model of the keyboard/mouse, or what language/region you selected, so I'm just guessing here.
