Tricks for remembering which fiber end is which.
MageBoySA
Hi guys, I'm working on Network+ currently and I was wondering if there where any tricks to remembering which fiber connectors are which at a glance. I've got, BNC, RJ-45 and RJ-11 down from working with them before, but having never worked with fiber hands on, I'm having trouble getting these to click in my mind.

I remembered them based on how they plug in. Stick and twist, Little connector...st and lc.

SC = "square" connector
ST = stick, twist
Those were the two I used to work with and make. One I preferred over the other because I could make it easier lol.
Check the wiki page for "optical fiber connector" for more tips on how to remember them.
