70-481 and 70-482 - viability ?

Can anyone here please comment on the practicality of 70-481 and 70-482 seeing how there is a lot of negativity surrounding windows 8 ? I'm not sure if it would be a good investment of my time to prepare for these exams.

Check the employment listings for your area (Dice, Monster, etc) and see what the demand is. Windows 8 is not going any where. MS may lose market share as things move even more to a heterogeneous tablet/mobile environment, but Windows 8 is not going away.
