Linux or MAC
Moving forward in the IT world which is better to have a deep knowledge of, Linux OS or Mac OS?

ptilsen Member Posts: 2,835 ■■■■■■■■■■Normally I dislike answering normative questions like this with absolutes, but the answer is absolutely traditional UNIX and Linux over Mac OS. Mac OS X is nice for personal use and desktop support, but UNIX/Linux/open source knowledge is much more applicable to more job roles, especially more lucrative ones.

Thanks, this was exactly the type of answer I was looking for. I realize this question could have been broken down into a hundred pieces but I was just looking for a simple answer like this on the whole. -
