Host Slow To Boot After BIOS Update

So I moved a host to one of our different locations yesterday and before racking my boss says, "update to the latest BIOS''. I did and afterwards the host took 30-40 min to boot and wouldnt connect to vCenter.
I did notice we were getting stuck on the usbarbitrator start
I havn't found concrete evidence that the BIOS update was the cause of this problem but I highly suspect. Ended up doing a fresh install of ESXi cause I needed it back up.
Anyone else ever run into this issue?

I haven't run into it specifically because I'm not running 5.1, but there's a few blog posts about similar experiences.
