Rackmount for Nested 5.5 setup (with +EPT)

Been browsing through the HCL and eBay on and off and I am tired of this now
Can someone suggest a rackmount server (any type) which I can get away with (32GB minimum) to build a supported vSphere 5.5 nested setup ?
With 5.5 a lot more drivers got removed so it is a lot more of a pain in the backside right now to find the right piece of kit.
Don't even care if its AMD or Intel - just need the damn thing to work

After mucking around a while, I found out my DL380 G5 doesnt dp EPT, though I can still install nested 5.5 but no 64 bit guest OS for me on those nested 5.5 hosts. But I can live with that for purposes of labbing.

JBrown Member Posts: 308I need the RAM, without it the server's just heavy paper-weight. Here in Australia everything is more expensive than in the US, a G6 with 48GB RAM costs over $1400. I will have to manage with the G5 for as long as feasible.
here is one for $970 HP Proliant DL380 G6 Server 2X Quad Core X5560 2 80GHz 72GB RAM 8x 146GB 10K SAS | eBay -

I use it mainly for for clothes and other stuff that doesn't ship outside the USA or for some eBay items where the seller is obviously making a profit on the shipping. I know they do bulky items as well.
They have a calculator so you can work out what it might cost. Of course you might have import duties as well - but it might be something to look in to for your situation.

Personally I don't need that (nested) any more after all. I finally have a decent lab I got cheap. I now got 5x Supermicro 2U hosts with 188GB Ram total and 2xE5520 each and one "SAN" - a 3U Supermicro server with 16 Bays (mixed 147GB and 1TB SAS) - which will be the SAN. And thankfully I am working in a hosting company inside a DC so I got free rackspace ...
