Hello all.
I am trying to set up a 2651XM as a PSTN router and I am having a bit of trouble deciding whether this will be possible or if I need to sell this router off and purchase either a 3725/45 (or even 2801/11/21) to do the job.
I have a NM-HDV with 2 banks populated with DSP resources.
In this NM-HDV I have a VWIC-2MFT-T1-DI. I can configure these as PRI no problem.
Additionally, in 1 chassis slot I have a VWIC-1-MFT-T1. I am limited to data config on the chassis VWIC. (no ds0 command available)
So what I am wondering is do I simply lack the DSP resources on the NM-HDV or is this just a limitation of the platform?
I really don't want to go the AIM-VOICE-30 route if I don't need to. At their current price I could just about pick up a new router altogether.
Regards
