Is anyone studying 70-411 but won't be taking exam until after January?

in MCSA / MCSE on Windows 2012 General
I'm currently studying 70-411 but worried I may be wasting my time with the new R2 can't coming out, as I won't be taking it until after Jan due to workload. Just wondered if anyone else is new same situation?
