Clearing Counters (dsl stats)

Not sure if this is the right section so I applogize beforehand, but does anyone know how to clear counters in dsl stats? For example, the 'sh dsl int' command lists ES, SES, UAS, CRC, etc..
'clear counters' does not do the trick, whether done for all interfaces or the specific atm interface. Is anyone aware of any alternatives? Is it possible for the provider to do it for you on their end?
