Extra hard drives
Hi
Is it possible to have more hard drives connected to ya pc, i know you can externally but i already have 1 40gb with os an 2 X 80gb for storage and also a CDRW/DVD Rom, i have another 40gb i wanna use for more storage, any ideas

The cheapest/easiest way is to just get an external USB drive case.
but if you want it internal you can buy PCI IDE controller cards like this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1070704&CatId=508
So that you can add another 4 IDE devices. If you've got space in your case. -

As long as you have an available controller, you could set the new drive as a slave in the system. The just run fdisk and format it, Windows should see the drive upon a reboot, and you could use that as an additional storage drive.i remain, he who remains to be....

Another option from panik's is go to just about any store and buy a cheap IDE RAID controller. You can add 4 more drives as JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks).Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of technology?... The Shadow DO
