Setting up your home lab to telnet from internet
Deadmaster200
I know some people have mentioned using a 2511 terminal server, but I was thinking, if you used say a 2514 as the first entry into your lab from your internet connection, wouldnt you just be able to telnet everything from the 2514?
If it is necessary to use the 2511, please explain why.
Thanks,

Yes you can telnet to everything as long as you know that you are not going to change the configurations on each router. For example... usually you would reload the router... change interface IP adxs and the such but with a 2511... you keep that router static and then just use that router to configure, alter, and change the other routers.
