Which security certification has the strictest standards? Which would you say has the strictest requirements to take the exam, to keep it, etc? I am just curious.

Any cert that requires you to sign a code of ethical conduct, be vetted by your peers, participate in continuing education, and pay an annual maintenance fee would seem to be very strict by many people.

Seems like most CE programs are fairly similar. Of the certs I have, CISSP requires the most credits

Certifications offered by GIAC (gold and gse especially), ISC2 and ISACA seems strict to me.

Any certification program that itself is certified under
ISO/IEC 17024
will have the same requirements of vetting, renewal, and continuing education for its certificants. You may want to check for that if you want to go only for "easy" certifications.
