Iv gotten my a+, net+ and sec+. Im taking some college classes now to finish my AS. I have a stable job and plan on the ccna after this semester (im taking a routing and switching class that uses the sybex ccna book). My job is security based, we run ad 03 domain and cisco infrastructure. Im wondering about the mcsa as i dont see the need to go mcse in my current (or hopefully future) position. I know i can get comptia crdit towards the mcsa or mcsa security. Call me silly, but i find the site is kind of vague. Can someone explain what exams i would need on top of my comptia stuff to achieve this (mcsa or mcsa security)? Thanks

For MCSA:Security you will need the ones listed above along with 70-299.
This is taking into account your current certifications. -

The MCSA 2003 actually requires 4 exams. The 70-290, 70-291 and 70-270, 'and' and elective. This seems to pop up in the forums more frequently and I think the common misconception is caused by the A+/Net+ or Sec+ being used as the elective. -
