Cisco 2851s worth getting?

Not sure if this is the right section to post it in but through work we have a few 2851s that have been collecting dust. I asked about them and the sales guy said he would sell them to me for $21 a pop but to double check with my boss as he may just give them to me for free. I know Cisco is moving away from the ISR gen 1 and focusing on gen 2 with all the new features with IOS 15.2 and such. My question is would it be worth it to stock up on these for labbing purposes? Or should I just save on the electric bill and stick to gns3.

The 1841s, 2811 and up all support IOS 15. I will definitely get them for that price.

At $20 a pop I'd get how ever many they are willing to let go!

Yes, I'd buy every single one they had. Maybe we can do a TE group buy. :p

My entire lab only burns 400W of power doing most things. That really isn't a lot on the grand scheme of things :)

I forgot about this thread.. Group buy lol I'm sure it would look suspicious to my boss if I would buy 50 units for a "lab".
