Saving config during a test lab type of question

Will a test taker be deducted or not get full credit on a lab question if they don't save their configuration before going to the next question? I've heard it both ways in the past but curious to see what you folks here do. I failed my exam and that was one thing I didn't do. I don't know if it is part of the results.

No you don't need to save to get credit unless that is specifically part of the lab. Cisco has stated it themselves multiple times.

Nope and most labs you can't even do a copy run start :)

I only recall running into maybe 1-2 where you specifically had to save the config. When you do, there will be no "wr" available so go with the fully monty

    copy running-config startup-config
