Company has reached out to me on database skill that I don't have

So I applied for a position where they mentioned MS SQL skills or database administration.
I have worked with Oracle and PeopleSoft, however it was pulling queries and no database administration and I have dabbled with MySQL, however no really big tables or a database that has much activity.
The hiring manager has emailed me asking me directly if I have these skills.
I'm wondering it if would be possible to communicate that I have some skills, and have a good understanding of how relational databases work.
