SFTP help needed with EFT and WSFTP
JohnnyBiggles
We're running 'EFT Server' for SFTP and something odd happened without any changes being made. Two other remote servers running WSFTP as a client would connect to it from an outside network and for a long time, transfers were successful. Suddenly, one day they stopped connecting and now we're getting a "Network error: Software caused connection abort" error. I check firewall traffic on both sites and it gets out and then gets all the way through to the other side, and there is a rule to catch all TCP 22 (SSH/SFTP) traffic and send it to this server running EFT. That traffic is still not blocked and shows up when an attempt to connect is made. What could have happened and why would this suddenly stop connecting? It still works from other remote sites... it's only this site that does not connect. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Like many other things with IT, it magically started working again. FYI, all I did was change a 'Keepalives' setting and then even after it went back to default settings, it still worked. Go figure.
EDIT: Correction, now it's NOT working. Not sure why it just worked and now it isn't!! ARGH! Again, nothing was changed!
