Passed VCP-DCV!!

Passed my VMware Certified Professional certification this afternoon!! This was a very hard exam covering lots of areas including: storage, networking, and virtual machine configuration. I studied around 100+ hours on labs, reading several books/study guides, practice exams what a great feeling to accomplish this high level certification!!

Resources:

VMware vSphere: Install, Manage, Configure [5.1] course (This helped the most!!)
VCP5 VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5 Study Guide: Exam VCP-510
Hands-on experience working at VMware with vSphere and vCloud Director

9 certifications and counting!!

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT)
Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)
VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization (VCA-DCV)
VMware Certified Associate - Cloud (VCA-Cloud)
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

What an amazing year I had. I'm feeling pretty indestructible and unstoppable... The Bachelor of Science: Information Technology-Security degree starts in February when I kick it up to the next level!!!

5 certifications passed this year:
CCENT, CCNA, VCA-DCV, VCA-Cloud, VCP

3 certifications in my first six months at VMware:

VCA-DCV, VCA-Cloud, VCP

Upcoming future certifications on my radar: (Security+, Linux+, Project+, CCNA: Security, CIW: Database Design Specialist, CIW: Web Design Specialist, CIW: Associate Web Fundamentals, CIW: Java Specialist) at WGU for my Bachelor of Science: Information Technology-Security degree!!

My dream job of becoming an IT Manager in the gaming industry is getting closer with every certification/degree I pass!!

I'm taking the rest of the year off to take a break and relax with my PS4 and Xbox One and chill...

I'll resume in February after I hit Vegas and party like a rock star!!
