Exam 70-461: Built-in Functions

Hello. I am doing an overview of some of the built-in functions in SQL Server 2012. I am familiar with only a few of them, and I am just wondering how much do we need to remember regarding these build-in functions in terms of passing exam 70-461. I will most likely remember the purpose of the functions, but I WILL NOT remember the exact order of the parameters or the exact data types returned.

I would advise you to understand the major functions covered in the 70-461 book as well as their parameters, both required and optional and their orders.
