in CCNA & CCENT
Recently bought a pair of 3620 cisco routers. Afterwards, I've started to see some bad news about these. I'm wondering if they are useable to study for the CCNA cert, or have I just wasted my money?

MosGuy Member Posts: 195If I recall they can support at least up to IOS 12.4/T, which are still fine. The main commands specific to version 15 are the licensing ones. I wouldn't say it's vital to have IOS 15 for the exam. What "bad news" have you heard and what are your concerns about the routers ?.---

JeanM Member Posts: 1,1173640 is a better model to be honest. 3620 maxes out at 32/64 vs. 32/128 on 3640. I had a pair of these, and I gave them away, replaced them with 3640, they are still used by many even in CCNP level labs. 3620 iirc supports up to 12.3

andymoore88 Member Posts: 10 ■□□□□□□□□□So the 3620 has two module slots... the data sheet states that it can support the NM-2FE2W module, I'm assuming two can be installed. So, and forgive me for being new at this, am I to assume that I can install two of these and 4 WIC-1Ts? That would give me 4 serials and 4 10/100 Ethernet ports?
Is my logic correct in this? Or am I missing something?
I'm under the impression that WIC-2T aren't supported withthe 3620.
