I am NOW CCNP!
Just finished up TSHOOT and finished my journey to CCNP! Took me bout a year of studying to complete all 3 tests. Tshoot as expected wasn't very hard. The reason I delayed it so long was because I started a new job in December and that took up a lot of my time.
It's weird to think that this time last year I passed my CCNA and was trying to get into the networking field only to land a networking gig a month later. Work hard and study hard guys it really does pay off. Certifications really are worth it and I can honestly say they changed my life! My salary alone has risen over 30k since my first networking job 1.5 years ago!
Next for me is studying CCIE topics. With the new CCIE right around the corner I feel that this is the perfect time to start on the CCIE journey. I have no time frame on which I want to complete it and am taking it day by day. Hopefully I will sit the exam within two years. I also may go for my CCDA/DP this year if time permits.

I like idea of going for the CCDA / CCDP. I had a fun time with studying for those exams from an architecture standpoint.
What version of the CCIE will you take? -
FloOz Member Posts: 1,614 ■■■■□□□□□□It would definitely be v5.
I really like the CCDP topics since I work with a lot of them. However I dread studying for the CCDA cause I have only heard bad things about how boring it is. -
Heracles004 Member Posts: 50 ■■■□□□□□□□Congratulations! Good luck on moving forward. I actually enjoyed studying for the ARCH exam when I took it, the INE videos for that are really good. So I hope your studies take you in that direction.

FloOz Member Posts: 1,614 ■■■■□□□□□□It usually takes up to 6 weeks to receive a printed certificate.

FloOz Member Posts: 1,614 ■■■■□□□□□□I believe it defaults to a printed version. You can login to your cisco certification tracker and see what option you have set.
