CEH v8 - Online Exam

Hello everyone,

I am currently studying for the CEH v8 exam, with help of the modules offered by EC Council and the book 'CEH All In One Exam Guide' by Matt Walker (originally for CEH v7).

My college offered me to do this exam, without classes, so I'm currently self studying. I study Software Engineering and have very little networking background, so it's pretty hard. My questions are:

- If I make the online test, am I allowed to use any material to look things up
- Are there any other books/websites/etc. I can use to prepare for this exam

The online test your refer to is called IBT Prometric Prime, You sit your exam through your university or accredited training centre and they invigilate it. The exam whether in a test centre or online is closed book, you will not be allowed to access the internet or any materials during the examination.

The book by Matt Walker is quite good despite being for V7, The only real difference I found was the mobile module. Havent come across any other books targetted toward the CEH, I found using all the tools in Kali helpful.
