Renewing Security+

Hello,

It's probably too early to worry this but it's nice to know ahead of time. I know that CCNA Security renews Security+. I've passed Security+ on 6th Jan and CCNA Sec on 7th Jan. In this case, since it's just 1 day after, would my Cisco cert renew Security+ 3 years from now ? Or do I need something closer to the expiration date ?

You would have to check with them and see. I know there is a PDF on CompTIA's web site that explains all this. You could also call/e-mail them.
