Hi,
With the purpose of using a VoIP phone purely in a lab environment, is a handset really required? Or am I wrong to assume to assume that you would be able to achieve all of the same results with the use of the inbuilt speaker?
I'm asking as 7940's cost $40-50 here with the handset, but can be picked up for $10 a piece without the handset/power adaptors.
Thanks in advance
