RAID/ Controllers/ Volumes etc. etc.

Can anyone point me to decent resource that can explain RAID configurations, controllers and volumes in a "Intro 101" type format? Basically data storage and redundancy as a whole. This is a major weak point for me on the knowledge front.

Search for Professor Messer A+ Videos. He goes over the basics of RAID. Other than that you would have you could search for things such as: Volume, Volume Management, Logical Volume Management, and information on particular controllers. Without know exactly what you knowing already; I am just throwing some things out there.

For more in depth about RAID and storage have a look at the EMC ISM book - it's almost a vendor neutral book.
