Can I use my 2950 for my internet connection?

I asked a similar question before. As I have a 100 m fiber connection, I don't want to just the 10m connection on a 2511.
I bought some more equipment, among which was a 2950. Since it switches layer 3, can't I just use that as my starting point from the internet to my internal network?

If on the other hand you only have one public ISP then you will need a router to do NAT for you. Im pretty sure that the 2950 doesn't have NAT capabilities.

a 2950's still just a layer 2 switch .... so you'd need a router.
pick up a 3550 or 3750 with the emi image and you can route packets,
run rip, eigrp, ospf and EVEN BGP !!!!
I don't think it's got enought memory to accept a full internet routing table, but it will ibgp or default just fine.rm -rf /
