How long will the 801/802 exams be used?

Does anyone have any knowledge as to how long the 801/802 exams will be offered? With Windows 8/8.1 having been released for some time now, will CompTIA retire those exams in favor of a new version focusing on Windows 8 sometime in the near future?

    Since CompTIA just recently retired the 700 series, I think it would be safe to assume that the 800 series will be good for a while, at least for the rest of this year. I don't see any information anywhere that says otherwise.
