Demand Dial Problems
I am trying to configure a simple demand dial connection between 2 server 2003 computers. On the member server the configuration sets up fine but on the domain controller when i hit finish i get the following error message:
Phonebook entry cannot be added
Access is Denied
I have tried to find info on the problem on the web but can only find a similar problem that is related to 2000 and is cured by simply using a remote desktop connection to configure the dial up
Thanks

Look this over.

Ally77 Member Posts: 212Thanks for the reply but im stil no nearer to solving the problem. Like u i believe it is to do with permissions, i found event id 1202 in the application section of event viewer : security policies were propagated with warning 0x5 Access is denied. This has been recorded for the last month and im pretty sure is linked to my problem. I researched it and found a lot of people with the same problem simply had to give the system and admin accounts back full control of the root and ntfrs folder but they already have in my case.
Have also found apparant fixes through the registry but assume it must be related to w2k as the same options are not available thru the registry
