Are there a lot of work from home help desk or IT support gigs out there? The reason I'm asking is that this will allow me to move anywhere I want to.

Is it a major dip (like 40-50%) less or a little bit less (like 10%)? -

Less than what?
It all depends. I saw an ad on CL yesterday paying over 20 bucks an hour for work at home. But they wanted you to be able to drive to peoples houses along with remote support.
Usually I see them at around 10-12 bucks an hour. -

I turned it down because I'm already working a similar role and the office is just 5 miles from my house. Was the Ricoh position a work from home job? I've worked from home for Plumchoice in the past and I didn't like it at all. The only reason I didn't like it was the unreasonable expectations. Currently I'm working a help desk job and we had to work from home due to the weather. That was a totally different experience from my Plumchoice days. I wouldn't mind working from home again, but the circumstances have to taken into consideration.

That's actually one of the reasons I'm looking into it. However, with the experiences listed above, I am definitely questioning the value. -

Do a good google search this should get you some information to start with.B.Sc (Info. Systems), CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, Security+
