First time pass!
I've been wanting to take the CISSP for many years now, but could never fully commit. The first few questions were almost surreal. I was like "I'm taking the CISSP RIGHT NOW!" That feeling quickly faded as time went on. This was not at all what I was expecting. A lot of questions I could whittle down to the best one or two choices, but sometimes none of the choices seemed right. I feel like 70% of what I studied and memorized was useless. As most people who have already taken it have stated, it is very conceptual and theoretical. The drag and drop are easy if you know the answers (which I didn't for some of them).
Regardless, I was very thrilled to see the congratulations on the print out. I had no idea if I would pass or not. Having these 5 letters after my name will no doubt help me in my career.
I used both the Conrad books, read some of the chapters in the 6th ed AIO, and lots of youtube on topics I needed more help on. Just let me know if there are any questions out there!
Taking a few months off from certs methinks.
