VCP5 voucher problem
mguernsey
I used the Stanly CC discount code to buy the VCP5 voucher, but it turns out that its for VCP510PSE and not VCP510. I contacted the vendor and they said the exams were the same, but that I needed to get authorization from VMware for the VCP510PSE, but repeated attempts at getting hold of the VMware Academy have gone unanswered. I tried calling VMware's Customer Support line, but they didn't even have a phone number, just an email address. Does anyone have a phone number or alternate email address that I can use to get approval to take the VCP510PSE exam, or should I just bite the bullet and consider the $70 spent on the voucher a learning experience?

Wait, did you already request authorization through
VMware Testing with Pearson VUE
?

I requested and received authorization to take the VCP510 exam, but in order to use the voucher I purchased I need to receive authorization to take the VCP510PSE exam (same exam, just different codes). I actually have authorization to take both the 5.1 and 5.5 exams, but I need the VCP510PSE exam authorization in order to use the voucher I bought using the Stanly CC discount code that took 70% off the cost. If I can't get authorization then I would need to buy another voucher, which isn't a big deal but I'd rather use the one I bought.

That's what I was looking for Bloogen. Thanks!
And 15 minutes after I clicked on the link I have my authorization. I love the Internet!
